Donate to help a young, challenged Father

Rich Derr is a proud member of Local 322. He recently finished all of his schooling for the completion of his apprenticeship. Last month he received an award for for Outstanding Moral Character when he was asked to represent our Local Union in the New Jersey Pipe Trades Apprenticeship Competition. He has been a model worker/member for the entire 5yrs.

Rich and his wife Lindsey have been together for 14 years, married for 7. They have a 5yr old son named Ryland and are expecting their second child on June 20th. For the last 16 years, Rich had been a devout volunteer firefighter, currently acting as a Lieutenant for the Blackwood Fire Department. He also helps coach in Blackwood Little League (teeball).

Last week Rich suffered a horrible motorcycle accident that left him with a broken neck in 5 spots. A rogue automobile cut him off by swerving into his lane causing him to lose control of his motorcycle and crash. The automobile left the scene and Rich to fend for himself. Please find it in your heart to help out Rich and his family in this time of need.
