4 generations of Palestinian family live in shack
Donation protected
Nedal is the eldest son of an extended family from northern Gaza Strip. They have lived and farmed there for generations. Expecting to leave their home only for a few weeks, they are now part of the 1.5 million Gazans forced to flee to Rafah in the south. Israel is bombing there, as well as in the north, where a relative and two friends were killed recently.
Now in a small wooden shack live Nedal, his wife and baby daughter, his parents and siblings, the youngest being his teenaged sister. Together they struggle to survive horrid conditions while under constant threat to their lives.
They hope to return north to their home, which was damaged by bombing. They are desperate, and the fundraising is to help them now with their survival, and to wherever they are pushed by precarious circumstances. It is impossible to predict what those may bring in any moment day to day.
I have known Nedal for several years while he supported his family, and he now solely concentrates on keeping them alive through scant and expensive resources.
We raised our goal to $30,000, as it is clearly their only option in order to survive this horror. Please donate. Please share.
