40 lbs in a week

In our human lifetime, we consume 40 pounds of plastics. Microplastics are found in the food and liquids that we consume daily.

I'm on a mission to pick up 40 pounds of trash on our 1-week road trip down the California coast with my aunt.

For each pound of waste, we are seeking $100 with a goal of raising $4,000 in total. So let's do our job and help our environment. It needs our help more than ever. At the end of the trip, we'll donate the $4k to the Surfrider Foundation.

So, in conclusion, I will be picking up 40 pounds of trash over one week, and I want you to join me by donating anything you can to help protect our oceans.
