Donation protected
Michael simpson and Mark Snape , ex Royal Marines, are taking on the challenge of a 40 mile hike carrying a minimum weight of 20kg starting in Chorley, over the Winter Hill across to Belmont tower and across the Darwin tower then finishing the hike over the Pennine way taking them up to 16 hours on the 10th of August in honour of oliver mawdsley to raise money for his memorial. Oliver mawdsley was a just turned 17 year old boy who suddenly passed away in a tragic incident at his workplace after just being there for two weeks, he was the most loving, outgoing, caring boy, he was and forever will be loved by many people as his death impacted the community massively. Back in 2019 Michael simpson took on the three peaks challenge completing the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and wales in honour of their close friend who also tragically passed away raising money for the charity Wipe your tears. They are doing this to raise as much money as possible for oliver mawdsley as Michael simpson was close to oliver being the father of Oliver's girlfriend. Oliver's current resting place is stunning it is full of colour just like Oliver's personality was when he was here with us all, his family and friends sit with him night and day no matter the weather, so a beautiful headstone is what will only be right for oliver, to match the beautiful young boy. Oliver's family and friends would like to say a huge thank you in advance for all the love and support
