In 2019 408 males alone committed suicide.

Although mental health is being discussed and people seem to be more open, the statistics aren't really highlighting this change. 408 people in 2019 felt like they couldn't find light in the darkness, our mission is to spread more light and hope by taking on our own mammoth of a challenge.

As part of Movember, over the course of 24 hours, we aim to run/walk 408kms in total starting at 12 midday Saturday, into the dark cold night till 12 midday Sunday. We will be completing this in Claremont Running Track Stadium here in Navan. With each loop being 400ms - it will mean by 12 Sunday our aim is to complete 1020 laps in total of the track, testing our mental and physical capabilities. Together all ages men and women to complete this together.

When we have a why, we always will find a way. We want this challenge to be a symbol of when people can come together, and go through tough times together it highlights what makes the impossible - possible. To make a difference to people who have lost or dimmed their light, and to ignite that hope and faith back into them.

A life well lived is a life well impacted, together, we aim to create and make a difference to people who need it.

In a world that is struggling now more than ever we want to spread light into our community, family, friends and beyond.
