Benefit for Gavin Lance

Gavin Lance is a 19 year old young man with a promising future. He is a 2012 graduate of Lamar County High School. Sports are his passion. He is an avid golfer, hunter, basketball, and baseball player. Gavin is a friend to everyone. He was in an accident on August 6, 2013 while on his way to pick up his Papa to take him to the dentist. For some reason, he lost control of his car, flipped several times, and was ejected. The velocity of his rotation caused some of the arrows in his quiver in the back seat to stick through the door panel and through the sheet metal itself. It is really a miracle that he is still with us today. Gavin is still in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in the Surgical Trauma ICU. Gavin has a lot of injuries, but the traumatic brain injuries are of most concern. Our hope is that we will be able to transfer him to The Shepherd Spinal Center to start their Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program. The funds donated for him will be used for medical expenses not covered by our insurance. Gavin is making progress one baby step at a time. This is going to be a very long recovery process. His future is unknown. We know that God has an awesome plan for Gavo. We are so thankful and praise God for all of the wonderful family and friends that are supporting us. There are thousands of people praying for our family and we are truly grateful. God has answered all of our prayers so far, so please continue to pray for his recovery.
