The Ornella Parker Annual Scholarship

My name is Ornella Parker and I am a black female who has personally experienced the trials and tribulations that are a part of the college journey. Fortunately, I was able to obtain my degree against all the odds, but I cannot say that this is true for all students; especially black students. I have started this annual scholarship to help support a black student from New York City beat the odds and obtain their degree. It is more crucial now than ever that money not be the determining factor for why a black student cannot return to college this school year.

Please help me to aid in the advancement of the black community by assisting to fund the expenses associated with college for a black student from New York City.
