One of our own can use some help right now…
Anthony Cruz has crossed over obstacle after obstacle in his life. Anthony is a cancer survivor. He joined The Waypointe team in the winter of 2018 from Utah to help care for his ailing mother who passed away a few short months following his return.
Anthony's 17 year old son Tony lived with Autism. A few months ago, Tony was riding his bike near their home and was hit by a car and injured badly. He spent many weeks in the ICU and went home with a few lasting injuries. Tony seemed to be recovering well when he went to the hospital for a routine procedure to remove fluid sitting on his brain. Soon after the procedure, the doctors explained to Anthony that complications arose while operating, and that Tony was likely to lose eye site in one eye and possibly motor functioning. Tony was also in so much pain that they were forced to place him in a medically induced coma.
Sadly, Anthony’s son, Tony Cruz passed away on Monday morning, November 20th, 2020.
Anthony is the champion of his family, always putting them first and keeping a smile on his face throughout his many obstacles. This time, our team is hoping to help put Anthony first by assisting with the funeral costs to celebrate Tony's life. Any donation will go a long way to showing Anthony he is loved and cared for.
