$4300 Funeral Fundraiser To Help Bro Mohamed find final home

Assalamoalykum,

I have received a request from Islamic International Funeral Services, one of the highly respected and professional Muslim funeral homes, to assist in covering the funeral costs of our departed brother, Mohamed A Ibrahim. He was born on February 24, 1959, and peacefully passed away on June 28, 2024, at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Our 65-year-old brother was a taxi driver and resident of Astoria, Queens, now awaiting his final resting place. Fortunately, Brother Kareem became aware of this situation and has taken initiative. It is now our responsibility to cover these costs as soon as possible.

Brother Mohamed A Ibrahim hailed from Egypt and has no immediate family to cover his funeral expenses. The total bill presented by the funeral home amounts to $4,300, and we urge you to help us ensure that our brother finds his final resting place swiftly. All the money will be going into covering funeral expenses and no one from our team is benefiting from this.

It's important to emphasize that when there is no one to bear the funeral expenses, it becomes our religious duty to step in. This is a great opportunity from Allah to spend in his way and send something good for ourselves into the next life. We should make haste and use this to our advantage.

Please understand that in America, there are no free funerals, and someone must shoulder the costs, including grave fees, funeral home charges, transportation fees, director's fees, grave opening and closing expenses, and more.
