Funeral Expense for Carlton Harris

Hello everyone: with great sorrow, I am writing to let you know of the passing of Carlton Harris. Carl died suddenly on July 2, 2020 after a short hospital stay. This loss has been devastating to all that knew him and has been especially hard on my mother, Carl's wife and best friend, Jacqueline Harris, as she works through the details and immense burden and grief of planning his funeral. 

Carl's funeral service will be held on July 11th at Nicos C Elias Funeral Home after which he will be interred at Gilbert Cemetery. At this time, services will be limited to immediate family due to the pandemic. It is our hope and plan to have a Celebration of Life ceremony at a time when we can all be together and remember Carl for his humor, his stubbornness, and his overwhelmingly warm heart. 

We expect funeral costs to be around $8000. Donations to this fundraiser will go first to cover Carl's funeral and related expenses. Remaining funds will go to Jackie to help her through the next few weeks and months as she manages Carl's affairs. 

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this great man and are very grateful for any contributions. 

Words from my Mother-

A long time ago I was alone and raising two children when I met a wonderful man who took my family and helped us to feel whole again. 23 years later he has left us to walk on, To return to his ancestors. Sadly I do not have the resources available to me to honor my husband as he should be honored. I am asking for help with his funeral expenses. Carl was a wonderful loving compassionate man who had my back always.
