Nicoles Recovery

On Sunday March 19, 2023 all of our lives changed forever.

For those of you that don’t know, my Mom, my Best Friend, my Person, Nicole, suffered a significant stroke. Nicole was rushed to Toronto Western Hospital for life-saving emergency surgery to remove pressure from her brain. This surgery was successful, but Nicole remains in critical condition in the ICU of the neurological ward due to the affects of the stroke.

We are asking you, as her closest friends and family to join this group as a way for us to provide updates to all the family and friends, that love and care for Nicole. We can all use this group as a way of providing support and assistance, sharing love and good thoughts to Nicole, her family and her friends.

This is an extremely difficult time and will be a long journey to recovery, as it is still very early to know what the future holds. Nicole and the family have already been blessed with an overwhelming amount of support. Her friends love her and hold her dear to their hearts, and we can use this group to provide support for them as well.

Nicole is a strong, loving and incredible woman who we know will battle this with every fibre of her being, but she will not do this alone. We will all be fighting right beside her every step of the way through the ups and downs and all of the adversity providing her all the love we all have for her.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, she is unable to have visitors as she is in the critical care unit and is only allowed to have immediate family in the room with her. As much as we would love to talk to each and every one of you every day, it is very hard and difficult as we deal with this extremely difficult time at home.
