Survival assistance

My name is Barry Taff, and the reason I am fund raising is that I've been very ill over the last six year. In 2015 I collapsed at my friend's house in Rancho Mirage and awoke to discover myself in a hospital bed with tubes coming out of my kidneys and a Foley Catheter. Apparently my prostate grew so large that it blocked my kidneys ability to send urine into my bladder. My condition was so severe that I hadn't been at my friend's house I likely would have died shortly thereafter. I ended spending five weeks in the hospital and was then transferred into a nursing home in Indio for one year. Then I was back in the hospital and they removed the kidney tubes and the catheter. I was then sent another nursing home in Yucca Valley for 8 more months to recover from the Turp procedure on my prostate that was now cancerous. Leaving that nursing home I ended up moving into my friends house in Rancho Mirage, but then my cataracts regrew from the surgeries I had back in 2011, but this time they were so bad that I couldn't watch TV or work on my computer. From 2018-19 I had three more cataract surgeries. It then seemed like things were getting a little more relaxed. Shortly thereafter, my friend moved to Palm Desert where we lived from 2017-2021. In June of this year we were evicted from the Palm Desert house in June of this year because the owners said they wanted to move in. Even the eviction moratoriums could not prevent that as it was one of the sure-fired way of removing tenants even if they're paying rent. Trying to find another place to rent has literally been impossible. Most everything in the area I was living in was either far too expensive or was already rented. Since leaving my home on June 22nd of this year I've slept in my friend's car, various motels and hotels. Then a friend paid for me to stay five days at a Marriott Hotel in this area which was great. The same friend also found a room for me to rent at a house in Menifee. The place seemed very nice, although we had no idea as to just how troubled the owner was. Once she learned about my 51 years of parapsychological research she went postal and kept screaming that I'm a demon sent by the devil to kill her. So I left there on July 17th and was driven to nine different motels/hotels in the area in search of a room to stay in. I found only one room available at the Holiday Inn Express in Temecula, but given that it's summer, the rates are quite high: $149/weekdays and $200/weekends (Friday and Saturday). As this was the only place available to me, I had to take it. As of this point, my best estimation of my bill if somewhere between $5,500-$7,500. However, the only money I have at this time is around $1,400. I just learned that if you're unwilling or unable to pay your hotel bill that exceeds $2,000, it is considered a felony and you will be arrested. The only income I have at this point is from Social Security which at this point is only $693.58 that goes to $953.72. This why I am trying to raise money in order to avoid jail.
