Jennifer Jones Surgery

As many of you know, Jennifer had been in a battle over the last few years with pancreas issues stemming from a procedure that she had done to solve some other issues. This battle has now led to her being hospitalized over 10 times with pancreatitis. These sever bouts with pancreatitis has now led her to have chronic pancreatitis. Her doctors at Augusta Health have said enough is enough and have sent her to UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) to have her pancreas removed and have her insulin producing cells removed from her pancreas and transfused into her liver. This is a surgery that has become the lifeline for people suffering from Chronic pancreatitis. We are extremely excited for this surgery to take place because it will place Jennifer back on the right track to complete healing. We are very thankful for all of you for how you have stood beside us on this journey. I am creating this Go Fund Me account at the direction of many of our close friends and family. We are doing an amount that will cover Jennifer's loss of income while she is recovering from the surgery, out of pocket deductible for the surgery because it is out of network and for possible costs of travel, lodging, and transportation that will be incurred during our time in Birmingham.
