Care for the Caregiver!

My mom, AKA Mama Jane, was recently diagnosed with an aggressive type of Breast Cancer. To know Mama Jane is to love her. She is the most nurturing woman I know, not just to her 3 children but to anyone and everyone who needs help. She has opened her home countless times to those in need and has been an amazing caregiver for over 30 years to the sick and dying.  She graciously opened her home to my father in the last year of his life, caring for him daily before he passed in 2014 even though they had been divorced for over 20 years. She is the hardest worker I know, usually working 7 days a week because, as she puts it, "my people need me". 
She is schedule for surgery on Jan 30th to have the tumor removed and from there is considering which options for treatment she will take.  If you know Mama Jane you know she wants to take the  'au natural' route. (Where do you think I got it from?)
This woman has been caring for others for decades, let's care for her! 
As she lives on an island,  travel to the mainland for treatments and checkups have already started adding up financially and she has only just begun this healing journey!
I would love to raise some money for her to help with this load and also to help so she can take some much needed time off to focus on caring for herself! She is looking into a few different healing methods and I will post updates here as she narrows these down.  Many of the ones she resonates with are not covered by insurance.  Basically, at this time, I am trying to ease the stress of money as this is the last thing she needs!
