LUKE HOSKING Memorial Fund
Donation protected
By now, you probably have heard of the untimely passing of Luke Hosking, son of Father Steven and Anne Hosking, and brother of Aaron Hosking.
Luke died after a brief illness complicated by an undiagnosed heart condition Dec. 17, 2020, while at home. He was employed as a sound engineer for the Comix Club at Mohegan Sun. Luke had a love for videography and photography, and was involved in many local and regional award-winning amateur video productions with his team, Misfit Island Media. He was also an avid fan of New England sports teams.
Many of you have asked how you can help. As you can imagine Luke's family will be incurring significant funeral related costs and would benefit from additional funds to help them get through this difficult time. The parishioners of St Alexis Orthodox Church are raising money for these unplanned family expenses through direct contributions and this fundraiser. Representing our church council of stewards, I've initiated this fundraiser on behalf of Luke's family, whose father is our priest.
Cash/Check contributions can be sent to the church ("Luke Hosking fund" in memo line) at 108 East Main St, Clinton, CT 06413. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the family as soon as possible.
Lastly, the family asks that you please consider donating to the Marfan Foundation at www.marfan.org.
Luke was a friend, a son, a co-worker, a brother, and a talented man who made you smile. He will be missed. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
