Susan & Stephen's New Family
Married over two years ago, Susan is a warm and loving person, former youth pastor, Sunday school teacher and she works as a nanny for three wonderful children that she loves like her own. Stephen is a funny and caring person who volunteers to teach children judo, including his three rambunctious nephews who he loves like his own. Yet despite loving children and being constantly surrounded by them, they cannot have any of their own.
They have tried for years to start their family and spent all their savings on fertility treatments that were unsuccessful. Now they have one last shot using IVF, an extremely costly procedure, not available here in Newfoundland, or covered provincially or by private insurance. While rich in spirit, they have put everything they have into trying to have a baby and now they are putting every hope and prayer into the last step in their fertility journey. Any money fundraised would go towards the procedures, medicines, flights, out of town transportation, time off from work, accommodation and two weeks of living expenses.
In closing, if you know Susan and Stephen then you know what awesome parents they would be. Your help, hopes and prayers would mean the world to them.
