My name is Kiannna Vestuto, and I am a volunteer chef with Mercy Chefs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality meals to those affected by disasters. I hail from sunny California, where I balance my passion for cooking with my responsibilities as a nurse and a mother of three. My journey in both the culinary and healthcare fields has taught me the profound impact that a warm meal can have on someone facing adversity.

Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to Asheville, NC, where I joined forces with Mercy Chefs to serve communities devastated by Hurricane Helene. This powerful Category 4 storm wreaked havoc across Florida’s Big Bend and Southeast, leaving many without homes, resources, and essential nourishment. As a volunteer, I witnessed firsthand the resilience of the human spirit and the urgent need for support.
