Transportation Desperately Needed

Dear Friends & Family:
As you may or may not have heard, last Monday while I was bringing Nick & Angelica home from school about six blocks from our home a lady ran a stop sign and T-boned our car. She was traveling between 40-50 mph and swore she did not see us because "the sun was in her eyes." As a result, Angelica had to be dug out from the back seat because they collapsed on top of her, she was also knocked out for a few minutes and had to be taken by ambulance to Children's Hospital of Detroit. Angelica ended up with a bruised lung and internal trauma to her abdomin. She was released to come home the next day and after a week of relaxing and resting she is slowly improving, she still has a few bruises, and is suffering from nightmares. Nicholas and I both still have sore joints and strained muscles, but we are both on the mend. Also during all of this my wife Jackie was already in the hospital here in Detroit recovering from a mini stroke. She too is on the mend,
Thank God.
Unfourtunay in Michigan, the other driver in never "at fault" and as a result our car was damnaged beyond repair and was declared "totaled."
This has left our family with no means of transportation and with both Jackie and I on fixed incomes, no way to come up with the Cash we need to replace our Totaled Car.
We are praying that you could find it in your heart to help us out of this seemingly hopeless situation so that we can get our children back and forth to school on a regular basis. Thank you so much from all of us and may God bless you and yours.
