Love for Lori

Lori had a terrible fall at her home on November 24, 2018. The fall resulted in severe trauma to her spine; at this time she is paralyzed from the chest, down.  Lori has been hospitalized since the injury and is currently at Craig Hospital in Colorado. As you can imagine, this has been a very trying time for her and her family. In addition to the physical challenges she is experiencing, she is also facing major financial expenses that no one could anticipate. For example, she will be needing major home modifications, a different vehicle, and expensive adaptive equipment to allow her to adapt to her new "normal" to continue shining bright like the star she is. 

As her friends, we are trying to do what we can to help, this is where this page comes in. We know Lori's reach is far beyond our "tribe" - she has touched so many people in Rapid City, and throughout her life. If we could harness the generosity of Lori's expanse of friends, imagine the impact we could make! You would agree that your friend Lori always has a smile, greeting everyone with joy and her signature 'Lori Joyce Laugh' - making you feel special for just showing up.  Knowing Lori, you know what a bright light she is, how she always helps everyone and truly pays it forward. Now it's our turn to support her in every way possible, lifting her up in this time of need.
