48 Hrs from a Healthy, Vibrant Female to Fighting for my Lif

Hi, My name is Jackie and I am fundraising to help with unexpected medical bills and misc household bills during my downtime for healing.
In 48 hours, I went from a Healthy, Vibrant Female to Fighting for my Life!
My husband and I went on a quick trip to relax before I was set to start a new job and flew back to Chicago on Tues, April 16th. I was excited to be taking on a new role/position at a new company and had one week before my start date on Monday, April 29th.
Nothing out of the ordinary, until Sunday, April 21st around lunchtime, I told my husband I thought I was getting a cold. The symptoms progressed rapidly and I had a fever/chills, my congestion and breathing was becoming difficult and my coughing was almost non-stop. I tried several over the counter liquid medications and was not getting better. I had a very difficult time sleeping, could not rest in the lay down position as my breathing was worsened and the next day I switched to medications in pill form, hoping they would be a bit stronger.
I couldn't speak and could only respond to my husband in grunts & groans (like a caveman). The next morning my husband texted to see how I was, I just texted "Come Home" and wasn't sure if my racing heartbeat and lack of breathing ability would be able to get better, but my dizziness and fatigue left me out of it.
When my husband got me to the hospital, I was worse than we could have imagined, my blood pressure was so low at 30 over something, and I was in FULL SEPSIS!!
The doctors tested for Covid, Flu, and several diseases we have never heard of, all negative. Finally, one doctor asked if we had FLOWN recently. "YES, we just got back last week."
Apparently I had blood clots that went to my lungs, double pneumonia (a Pulmonary Embolism) that happened on the flight home. What a shock!!!! Never had any issues prior and this was just a bizarre situation we would never have seen coming.
The doctors started treatments right way, the week was a life & death, up & down, good & bad reactions, but I am BLESSED and lucky to have come out on the other end.
I have been released, sent home, still fighting, healing and making small improvements each day.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, love and prayers. I am forever grateful and am beyond blessed.
I am hoping for a little assistance with medical bills, co-pays, prescriptions, follow up doctor appointments and whatever therapies I will need to continue healing, along with misc home bills that I am not able to contribute to.
Since my new job is now on "hold" until I am released back to work, it has left me in a type of limbo (unemployed) and I have no benefits or paychecks coming in. The sooner I can get released to work, the sooner I can be a productive member of society again.
Thank you again in advance!! God Bless!
Jackie
(I will send some updates after I see the doctor next week and learn the next steps.)
