48 miles for 80 years

My name is Patty Haggerty and I will be running the David Goggins 4 x 4 x 48 challenge on December 14 to raise money for my grandmother’s 80th birthday on December 19. I will be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours (48 miles) to raise money to help with her expensive medical bills.
On December 19, Patricia Caulfield is celebrating her 80th birthday. She is one of the oldest living polio survivors in the world and is fighting breast & skin cancer, yet continues to inspire everyone around her. She was diagnosed with polio at the age of 2 and from that day forward she proved every medical diagnosis wrong. She has outlived every doctor that told her she would not live past her childhood years. Not only is she still living, but she raised four wonderful children and 12 grandchildren.
She is one of the most intelligent and hardworking people I have ever met. She became one of the first women lawyers in Chicago, all while raising her four children. Combined with her artistic talent and her generosity, this woman is unlike anyone I have ever met. She wakes up with the biggest smile on her face ever day without fail and makes it an essential part of her everyday routine to pray for every member of her family.
Grandma, I love you more than life and I want you to know you are my biggest inspiration in everything I do. You are a once in a lifetime and everyone that is lucky enough to meet you is blessed to have met someone like you. Happy 80th Birthday my Queen❤️
