Team Troy

This page is being created for a benefit fund for Troy Turner.  Troy is a senior at Dickinson High School in Dickinson, Texas, and has just been diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer. 

Troy has been active in Dickinson sports from years in little league until a football injury as a freshman in high school. As a result of that injury, he faced numerous surgeries and hours of rehabilitation.  He was released in May of his junior year to play the sport he loved most, football.

January 7, 2016, Troy was faced with the greatest hurdle of his life, cancer.  It was very evident at an early age that Troy was a very gifted athlete, and many believed that he would one day play football for a Division 1 college.  Instead of looking forward to his high school graduation and going off to college, he is now facing months of cancer treatments. 

Please join his family and us in helping support Troy!  Thankfully, they do have insurance that will cover a portion of his medical bills, but as you all know, with catastrophic illnesses, there is still an enormous amount of out of pocket expenses.   If you are not able to help monetarily, please become one of Troy’s prayer warriors.
