48km to raise funds for Rancho Fino Rescue Mallorca

I’m Natalie, Leo’s Boss and a great lover of dogs.

I have enrolled in the Grup Güell walk this year. It’s a 48km night walk from Palma to the Lluc monestary here on Mallorca. It begins at 23:00 and you walk all night, across the island and into the mountains. Some of the walk is flat and some is mountainous ☺️

If you know me, you know I love to hike and walk, especially in the name of mental health…Yet I’ve never walked this far in one go. To celebrate this challenge, I want to raise some money for the wonderful Rancho Fino Mallorca Rescue and share the love!

This is a haven for animals on the island who are in need of immediate help. Run by Stacey and husband Sten, the sanctuary and rescue is home to over 30 dogs, horses, donkeys, pigs and all kinds of animals. Stacey and Sten work tirelessly to keep this incredible place going. They work full time as well as running the sanctuary and I’m in complete awe over what they do everyday. The emotional toll it takes, the physical requirements and always keeping an open heart at the same time.

Any money raised will help them with vets bills, supplies and keeping this essential rescue running! They are currently raising money to help buy a new supply of hay which costs around €8000-€9000.

Leo won’t be joining me on the walk, but he will be with me in spirit (as will Charlie boy!)
