Help Dennis recover!
For those of our friends who know what has happened and for those who are not yet aware:
Our son Dennis Ronel - so bright and talented, a UPenn Honors student, a mock legal trial captain, a singer and theatrical actor, proud Stuyvesant (Class of ‘17) and Mark Twain (Class of '13) alumni - was involved in a devastating car accident last week.
It happened five days before his graduation from UPenn. Dennis was crossing the street with his classmates next to his university and was hit by a reckless driver at a very high speed. It is a miracle that he survived the devastating impact. Dennis was thrown flying thirty feet and sustained severe brain injuries and multiple body fractures from the impact of the car hitting him head on.
It will be a long road back to recovery, but Dennis is a strong 22-year guy. Rehab is the only way Dennis will be able to regain his motor skills and cognitive abilities so that he can again function. Unfortunately rehab is not covered by insurance. We need help for our Dennis!
At this point we are starting this page to raise money to help Dennis with his costly rehab which insurance does not cover. We respectfully ask that all of those who know and love Dennis, UPenn, Stuy and Mark Twain alumni, to donate and help with his rehab.
Thank you and please remember how precious and fragile our kids really are.
