Asking for ‘comfort’ for our comfort dog, Chance.

We just found out that our young dog Chance needs a life-saving surgery very soon or we’ll have to put her down, a heart-breaking decision.

Chance has been our comfort dog through both the bad and good times. Since we got her five years ago, she has comforted us through family loss, recovering from surgery, heartbreak and emotional stress. But she has also been with us for the good times always wanting to be part of the action be it parties, family celebrations, hiking through snow blizzards and swims in lakes and the ocean (that’s her favorite!) She never fails to make us laugh, and we're hoping to get a few more of those moments. Unfortunately, at the age of only 5, she has been diagnosed with cancer and the operation is costly, an estimated $10,000, money that we simply just don’t have at the moment.
