Cpt. Terry's Cedar Point Boat Fire

Donation protected
On August 14, a fire took over and destroyed Captain Terry's dream boat at the Cedar Point Marina. The captain, known to almost anyone who needed help, worked for more than 40 years to attain this retirement life, with his wife, Mary Kay. They sold their “land” house 8 years ago and used the sale to buy their dream Carver. Unlike most boaters, this wasn’t a weekend boat for them, it was their home for 6 months a year. Using it as a break from hospice care for a mother who has advanced alzeheimers, it served as their the home in which they could be live as a couple and be with their grandkids. On August 14, that dream went up in flames as they watched from the shore for a reason yet to be discovered. Thankful for their safety, they now need help with basic needs such as clothes, food, etc. After that, they hope to piece together whatever insurance money they get, while working as a family to make new memories to replenish the photo albums, pictures, videos and memories that were lost. Thank you for considering a donation to help meet their immediate needs while building a fund to create the possibility of starting their retirement dream back up again!
