Support Scotty & his Boys...and Fuck Cancer

If you know Scott, you probably love him. I think everyone who has ever met Scott has loved him. If you know him, you know that he has the best stories (the embellishments to which he's been perfecting since childhood), and that he has the ability to make you laugh even at the most inappropriate times. If you know Scott, you know that Scott loves the sea and has worked his entire adult life on Alaska fishing boats. If you know Scott, you know that he loves fishing and motocross; but above all else, you know that there is nothing more important to him than his two sons. What you may not know is that Scott has been battling terminal cancer for the past 1 1/2 years.
In October of 2019, Scott was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer.
Scott and his medical team have been fighting the worsening disease, but we have received news that he has exhausted all treatment options. At the point of writing this, Scott has been in the hospital for more than a week and it is likely that he will remain hospitalized until he is transferred to an end-of-life care facility.
This has been both emotionally and financially devastating to him and his family. Scott is a single parent with two teenage boys; one of which is hoping to attend college in the fall, and the other will soon follow. However, the costs of Scott's care have drained all of his bank and savings accounts. The amount needed for the care he requires is several thousand dollars PER day.
It is with a grateful and humble heart that we are asking for help from anyone who is able to donate. Help to cover medical expenses. Help to assist in caring for his sons. When the time comes that Scott will leave this earth, he has requested his ashes be scattered in the Bering Sea. Funds donated here will also assist in making sure his sons are able to make that trip and carry out their dad's final request.
Thank you to anyone that can donate, and everyone who loves Scott.
