Support Eli's Journey to Recovery

You never want to see your child (or grandchild) have to walk through difficult situations. That is why we are reaching out for help for our 3 year old grandson, Eli, who was in a very serious bike accident on May 18th which resulted in 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his right foot. He was air lifted from South Dakota to Denver. Due to the extent of the injuries the family must drive weekly from South Dakota to Denver to get Eli the necessary medical attention. He must receive weekly burn care treatments and will require several more surgeries. As you can imagine, this is a big strain on the young Air Force parents, Shaun and Bailie, parents to three other children. He has already undergone five surgeries, which has put a big financial strain on the family. In order to continue to travel back and forth, they are needing to raise approximately $400-$500 for each trip out to cover gas, food, and lodging. They have attempted to get help through Ronald McDonald House and other various local agencies, but to date, nothing has come through. Every penny helps! If you can donate $5 or $10, they would greatly appreciate it! And even more than money, we would really appreciate your prayers- he is very young and doesn’t understand what’s fully going on. Please pray for wisdom for the healthcare professionals, peace for families’ hearts, pain relief for Eli, safe travels back and forth, and that God would meet all of their needs – both spiritually and physically.
