Lagbas Family Fund

Louise Peevyhouse visited Maui in the late 1960s and fell in love. She married the love of her life, Barney Lagbas, a native Hawaiian, and moved onto his multigenerational family property in Lahaina. Over 55 years of marriage, they raised 3 kids, 5 grandkids and 8 great-grandkids, all Lahaina born and raised. They lost everything in the Lahaina wildfire last week. The property is destroyed along with several of my cousin's homes and livelihoods. They are hardworking and generous people. John Lagbas, their oldest son, is trying to help his aging parents replace medications and personal necessities. He is also responsible for coordinating housing, communication and necessities for the entire family, including a nephew with a young disabled child.

Megan and I are both celebrating our birthdays this month. It would mean the world to us if you would consider giving something to help our Hawaiian family. Thank you!

Lagbas family property after the fire. Nothing is left but their love and hope for a bright future.
