Rebuilding Hope After Afghanistan's Earthquake
Donation protected
Afghanistan has been hit by a series of terrible earthquakes, causing massive destruction and loss of over 2,000 lives. With the winter approaching, it only intensified their struggles and left hundreds of families devastated and vulnerable. As members of the Brown University community, we stand together in the face of tragedy and we recognize the power of collective action and compassion. That’s why, we are reaching out to you to make a difference.
The Situation: The people of Herat are facing unimaginable challenges in the aftermath of the earthquake. Families have lost their homes, their belongings, and, more importantly, their loved ones. With winter on the horizon, the situation becomes even more dire. Many survivors are left without proper shelter, warm clothing, or access to essential supplies, making their plight especially heart-wrenching.
Our Call to Action: We, the students of Brown University, are launching a fundraising campaign to provide immediate relief to the victims of the Herat earthquake. Your support can supply crucial aid, including warm blankets, winter clothing, temporary shelters, food, clean water, and medical assistance. Together, we can offer these families a glimmer of hope amidst their darkest hours.
How You Can Help: Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant impact. By donating to our campaign, you can directly assist those in need. Every dollar you give will go towards providing essential resources to the affected families.

Final Thoughts: In times of crisis, the strength of a community is measured by its ability to come together and support those in need. Your generosity can provide warmth, comfort, and hope to those who have lost so much. Thank you for your support and for being a part of this collective effort.
Let's stand in solidarity with the people of Herat in Afghanistan.
With determination and empathy,
Brown University Students
