Mom and I need help!!

Hi, my name is Dale Karr and my Mom is Nancy Karr. As a junior and senior in high school I worked as an orderly in a near by nursing home. I loved my job but told both Mom and Dad then I’ll never put you in a home!! Families won’t visit and so many went without love and proper care. Let’s jump to 2016. Both mom and dad are older and both show signs of dementia. Well dad got sick in 2016. I had to quite work in order to take care of him and mom both at home. I was 53 and going to uphold my promise to them. I moved in, my ex-wife divorced me, even though we discussed this all our lives. Dad died in ‘16 in bed with me holding him. Now, 2023 I’m taking care of mom since dads passing. I’ve spent all savings and now the 2 of us are relying on here SS and VA to get us through. Needless to say, we’re broke and can’t keep up with bills. I’ll be receiving SS in March so that will certainly help but, always a but, I can’t pay for standard stuff like food and the electric bill and gas. I can’t even take her anywhere because the golf cart is broke and that’s the only way to get mom up to the driveway!! If you could possibly dig through your couch or car for change it would be greatly appreciated. If you’re in my shoes please keep what change you have. I love my Mom and it’s just so hard to say”mom we don’t have the money”!
