Help Create Magic 4 Kids w/ Cancer

Hello Friends, Friends of Friends, Strangers, and Citizens of Humanity.

I am thrilled you have taken the time to read my story and possibly help make a difference for some children with pediatric cancer.

Lets start with my story (The quick version). I have been working for The Walt Disney Company in some form for almost 10 years, always with children, and most recently was a Youth Activities Manager for Disney Cruise Line overseeing 80 counselors who make Magic happen for children everyday onboard DCL Ships. In February I woke up with a large lump on my side and after seeing a bunch doctors I got diagnossed with Ewing's Sarcoma. This type of Cancer (like everything else in my life!!) is primarily found in children and teenagers, but I was lucky enough to get it at 27. Unfortunately it is also quite agressive and needs some serious chemotherapy. I had surgery to remove the tumor along with 2 of my ribs, and then began the 14 long treatments of super strong chemo, along with 26 daily radiation doses which drained the light from my eyes, (quoting silver linings playbook) I have never been so tired in my life. Needless to say it has pretty much sucked, however we have had one giant thing that we are so thankful we did not have to worry about, Medical Bills.

Disney Cruise Line and the Walt Disney Company have taken care of every single one of our medical bills, since I woke up with the tumor on my side. I can't explain what a relief it is to not have to worry about this when you have 20 other things that you need to worry about at the same time. Just to give you an idea of what Cancer costs please see below.

Chemotherapy (1 Session) $33,000.00
Surgery to remove Tumor $416,000.00
Hospital Room and Board (5 Days) $16,000.00
14 Shots to help boost white cell count $126,000.00
Radiation $18,000.00
I could keep going but i think thats enough to make you get a shiver down your spine.

Needless to say we have been so blessed and Lucky that Disney has covered us for every penny and helped to ensure that this is not a burden and we can focus of fighting the disease.

Im proud to annouce that I am about to have my final round of Chemo and scans show that the Cancer is gone and I have WON, I am lucky, lucky I have an amazing wife, amazing parents, amazing family, and amazing friends.

Now to the point of the go fund me page. Tiffinie (my wife) and I would like to try and raise as much money as we can for 2 children at the Cleveland Clinic and their families to help them with the burden of thier medical expenses. Not everyone is as lucky as us and with the Holidays approaching even if we can help them to have a magical Holiday season, or to pay for parking, which by the way is PRICEY, Trust me every little bit helps. Since We work with Children, and my Cancer is Pediatric we want to make sure it goes to some of the little heros that are fighting just like I have been.

We would love to be able to take our good fortune and with your genoristy help a family with a child who has only just begun. They have just begun to live, just begun to fight, just began to make mistakes and learn from them, just begun to cry, and most importanly just begun to Dream, Because us Dreamers we gotta stick together.

Please Help us to ensure that the kids have a chance to make their Dreams come true!

Love and Warm Hugs!

-Kyle and Tiff
