Medical and Travel expenses

Hello my name is Thomas Mendoza.

I am a Fresno native and 58 years old. My life has blessed me with the opportunities to serve mankind for most of my adult life. As a young man I served as a wild lands fire fighter on engines and "Hot Shots" I then served my country enlisting in the U.S. Navy and reserve for 8 years. My service continued as a Correctional Officer with the Fresno County Sheriff's Dept for 31 years. I was also a Team leader for the SERT (Security Emergency Response Team) for 11 years. After the passing of my father in 2019 I promised him on his death bed, that I would care for my mother who suffers from RA. I then retired early to fulfill that promise. I sold my home and moved in soon after. My dream was to move my family to Washington for a peaceful retirement. Last summer I had lost weight and upon further testing, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I have completed 4 rounds of chemo but it was unsuccessful. I have been approved for another type of treatment called Radio Frequency Ablation in Houston TX along with a new chemo treqtment in Clovis. This is where I need financial help from my friends and family and community. I am humbly requesting help for travel expenses , treatments and future expenses in my fight with cancer. Please consider helping me and my family through this fight for my life! This would allow me more time to help care for my mother.
