Help a friend

I never imagined I would find myself in this place, but here I am, asking for your help.  Two months ago I was injured at work, and shortly thereafter, was also laid off from my job.  Due to my injuries, I have been unable to work.  I am in a difficult battle with Workman's Comp insurance, and have not recieved any compensation.  I have been informed that I may not receive any compesation for a few months.   Because the workmans comp claim is pending, I have been disqualified from recieving unemployment benefits. This has put me financially in dire straits.  I have no income and have reached the end of my funds.  Litterally.  I have $20 left to get me through until my case is resolved.  I would quite like to pay my bills this month, buy food, pay child support, and enjoy the holiday with my children.  If you are able to help or feel so inclined, I would be very grateful.
