Justice for Melissa

On January 29th, 2024 Melissa (Garrelts) Long was tragically taken from us by an act of violence from one man. Melissa was in California, far from her family and friends in Missouri. She has no real advocate there.

Please help our family in this time of need, we need to raise money so her mother can attend his trial and sentencing. We need to look this man in the eyes and make it known to him what he has done, not just to our beloved Melissa, but to the myriad of people who loved her.

We have had a hard year, we lost a cousin to suicide, another cousin murdered by her husband in Canton, MO, and our dearly loved Grandma Joyce earlier this month.

Please help us concentrate on getting her justice.

We will not profit from her death, all left over donations will be given to a domestic violence prevention charity to hopefully stop this from happening to another poor soul and the families and friends left behind.
