Abby's Medical Fund

On July 25th, while studying abroad in Peru with her Spanish class from Stephen F Austin, Abby Cole was on a bus that turned over into a river and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. She has sustained a fractured femur, a concussion, a dislocated kneecap, busted lip, and a slight brain bleed. She was originally scheduled to fly home August 10th but the trip was cut short due to this accident and she will be coming home Friday, July 31st.
Once she arrives back in Houston, she has been advised to seek confirmation on her diagnosis and to be reevaluated. Her mom had to purchase a last minute ticket and will be flying down to see her on Tuesday to help her back to the states. With this unfortunate accident she will need help with the medical expenses and her sorority sisters wanted to help raise any money they can for her and help in anyway we can. She is a fantastic friend and sister and loved by many and we want to help alleviate some of the financial issues on her way to recovery. Every little bit helps!
