Hello, my name is Stacy Brooks. It is with a heavy heart that I’m sharing my story. My family and I received devastating news. On Wednesday, March 6, at approximately 9:15 p.m. I received a call from the Prince George’s Police Department informing me that my son Davon Brooks had been shot and killed as the result of gun violence in Forestville, Md. Davon was a bright soul and an unproblematic person; he loved his family and friends. A life taken too soon as a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Unfortunately, he did not have life insurance. To help the family cover funeral expenses we are soliciting donations via this page. Please consider donating.
