Emergency Relief for Afghanistan
The sole purpose of this fundraiser is to assist Afghan families in need via purchasing and donating necessary items. Afghanistan is currently facing a humanitarian crisis. As political tensions intensify during this time, innocent civilians pay the ultimate cost. Around 60,000 Afghan families have been displaced in an attempt to flee clashes between Afghan Government forces and the Taliban. Afghanistan is an impoverished country and any additional infliction becomes highly detrimental to its civilians. Afghans will continue to face hardships as days go on without any substantial aid and resources.
Our hearts are breaking as we watch this turmoil unfold. Afghans all around the world are trying their best to raise awareness and assist innocent families and children in any way possible. My local Afghan community and I are hoping to raise funds for these displaced families who are in need of food, shelter, water, sanitation, medical treatment, and more. We are also concerned about an outbreak of COVID cases, and other diseases that may be spreadable due to poor living conditions at this time.
We will be sending donations to Afghanistan first hand or via recognized and trustworthy NGO (non-governmental organization).
Your donation of any amount can make a difference. We highly appreciate your prayers and donations. Thank you
(2.9% + $0.30 of your donation goes to a transaction fee. Please double check transaction fees to understand how much of your money is being donated: https://www.gofundme.com/pricing#US).

"The people of Afghanistan not only need the world’s attention, they need the world’s help to get through this. These are families with children, old people. Our staff came across at least 13 pregnant women. We can’t turn our back on them. We need tents, food, clean water, sanitation. Immediately.” -Save The Children
