Pulley Family

Hi, my name is Melissa Hargett, as most of you know my son in law Gage Pulley had a freak accident on July 1st.

He is not able to work & as we all know the bills don’t stop coming. They are in the process of getting his FMLA papers filed.

The stress they both are under right now is tremendous, I know they didn’t want me to do a go fund me but I feel they are deserving of this. They are always the first to help others in need, if you feel it in your heart to donate, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, if you don’t or unable to, I understand & prayers are very much appreciated.

Yesterday (July 1st) went a little different than we had originally planned…. We were at a trampoline park having a great time when Gage Pulley decided to show Steel some more flips. He had been flipping and jumping on the trampolines the whole time we were there. He went to do a front flip, landed wrong and I heard the crack. He broke his tibia in half, broke the bottom half of his fibula and dislocated his tibular joint. His foot was hanging to the side but he took it like a freaking champ. I don’t know how he stays so calm. We finally made it home around 2 this morning. It’s been a long night. He’s in a lot of pain and will have to have surgery within the next week or so and be out of work for at least 6 weeks.

Non weight bearing for 6-8 weeks 

We want to thank everyone for all their help, texts, calls & prayers. It’s gonna be a long road to recovery. A special thank you to Noah Anderson, Eric Anderson, Jody Etheridge Ledbetter, & Gene Ledbetter. I couldn’t have done it without y’all’s help with the kids. Thank you to Tonya Norris (and granny) & Kaci Pogue for the food and coming to check on us. Thank you to Daulton Donoghue for keeping him calm while the ambulance got there and keeping me sane with the kiddos. We appreciate you all more than you know!!!
