Penny’s medical bills

We are setting up this GoFundMe for anyone who is interested in helping with Penny’s recovery. Penny suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on January 10, 2024 that required emergency brain surgery. The surgery required removing part of her skull to be able to get the blood and clots removed. The skull flap was reinstalled in late March and her trach was removed shortly after. Penny has spent a month at an inpatient rehab facility working hard on regaining movement in her left arm and leg among other things including having her feeding tube removed. She came home on 5/31 and has been doing outpatient rehab twice a week for the last month. She will requires the use of a wheelchair for the time being as well as some assistance performing everyday task like dressing, bathing, etc. Donations thus far have been extremely helpful with medical bills but some still remain. Any donations will also got to purchasing supplies that we use for her, such as diapers, wipes, gloves, etc. Penny herself sent a special thank you message at the link below and we continue to post updates to her progress.
