HELP for Papa Cesar!
Hello, my name is Clarice. A few days ago my parents Cesario and Elvira tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid19). My dad, being a stroke patient with a weak heart and immune system has more serious symptoms. He was already coughing blood for a couple of days and then his oxygen level plummeted down to 86. His cardiologist advised us to take him to a hospital to make sure he gets the care he needs before it's too late. Hospitals and Emergency Rooms are at full capacity. My dad and I were sent to an old hospital in Manila, and have been here since Saturday night. It was a scary night for me, we also found out that covid had already gotten into his lungs and caused bad Pneumonia. He had to use an oxygen tank and then that wasn't enough supply so they used a machine that gives out more air. If that machine fails, then my dad has to be intubated. I thought we were going to lose my dad then, but thankful for the grace and mercy of God, and the people who have been praying for my dad and my whole family. He is fightin and getting better. We hope that his recovery will continue and that he regains his strength and soon be okay completely.
This is yet another test for our family. But, we will never be shaken. We have faith and we believe God does things on purpose to be used as a testimony and to give Him glory and praise.
I am only asking for a little bit of help, I thought about this for a couple of days and I thought, there is nothing wrong in doing this and asking for help. No shame in this. Covid is costly. That's one reason why most people end up dying, especially the ones who really don't have money and not financially stable.
The cost of medicines are really high.
Tests, Medical supplies and Doctor's fees.
When I checked the running bill this morning, I was in disbelief. There's no way we could afford and be able to pay the final bill with what we have. So, I thought.. What are we going to do? But, life is more important. You lose money, you can earn it again, but once you lose a person, that's it!
My whole family and I need more prayers as my mom is also battling to fight covid. She is home and isolated. Being treated and hopeful that she won't need hospitalization.
