Emergency Expenses

My name is Jenna, and I need your help. In February of this year, I became ill with Covid-19. This

caused me to have long-term health issues as well as having fallen behind on rent. To add to my problems

I had my annual vehicle inspection reveal emissions issues and brake work that needs to be done to

make my van safe to drive. I need this van to get to and from medical treatments and be able to

food shop as I live in a rural area.

I work as a librarian at my local public library. While the job is fulfilling, it only barely covers

my monthly expenses, leaving almost no money to get caught up on the rent, much less repair my van. I

am only asking for the amount that is necessary to get even, so I am no longer in danger of losing my

housing and my transportation.

Hopefully, you have never been in a situation where $1800.00 is the difference between security and

homelessness, but that is the situation I am facing.

Not only would this money keep me secure, but the stress reduction offered by security can only help with my mental and physical health.
