Harvey Victim Trent Yeager

Hurricane Harvey unleashed epic flooding that some are calling the worst in U.S. history. All are experiencing this disaster in different ways (some much worse than others) and there are still many human struggles going on around us. During this flood, Trent Yeager's family (age 50), Lost everything. Sadly, like many he was not insured for any form of flood damage. Although it sounds fairly silly to not have flood insurance, the area in which he lives has not held water for almost 40 years. With that said, he has lost his home, his two vehicles, and all of his belongings. Sadly, he was buying or planning to buy the home from his sister and it was not in his name. Given all the stipulations with FEMA, the home being someone else's name has made him fully exempt from any assistance with FEMA and has made his sister fully exempt from any assistance to rebuild the home. His sister will be building the home on her own, but Trent has no insurance and NO FEMA assistance outside of the food stamps they are willing to offer. Recognizing there are many in Houston and surrounding areas that have been impacted by this loss, I am doing my best to help Trent and his family get back on their feet. Trent is a hard-working man on a single income and this will be a long road. If anyone would like to, or can help Trent and his family get back on their feet, your help is greatly appreciated. His family must split up In order to get a roof over their heads and until his sister can gather the funds to rebuild. Trent and his family appreciate any assistance anyone can provide and please keep Trent's family and the entire State of Texas in your prayers.
