This fundraiser aims to raise funds to provide crucial support to Starr's children, Christian and Anthony, as they navigate the devastating loss of their mother. Your support is essential to help them find stability and security during this difficult time.

On December 7, 2023, the world lost a vibrant soul when Starr Lynn Suslew, 36, of West Haven, CT, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital. Starr was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend—she was a beacon of joy, known for her infectious laughter and a smile that could illuminate the room.

Starr's legacy lives on through her cherished sons, Christian Shealy (17) and Anthony Holmes (10). As a devoted single mother, she poured her heart into supporting both her kids while also housing and caring for her father. Now without her, family has stepped in to help, but the untimely loss has left these two sweet children uprooted, during an undoubtedly challenging time. They still need their mother in more ways than one, but we are hoping to at least keep their daily life somewhat normal.

While we, her family, are coming together to do everything we possibly can, we unfortunately can’t afford everything. Your generous donation will be directed towards current living expenses, essential care, and securing a stable future for Christian and Anthony. More specifically, it will allow Christian to finish up his senior year of high school without changing schools and continue on his path to higher education. Any additional funds will be dedicated to both of their future education and schooling needs. By contributing, you are providing a lifeline that ensures a sense of continuity and support during a time of immense upheaval.
