Help Meeko the husky

On December 2nd, Meeko and his puppy Wizzy got out of the backyard due to the heavy Santa Ana winds that caused the gates to open late at night. Unfortunately we have not been able to find Wizzy who is 8 months old but we got a call on December 3rd that Meeko was found but severely injured. He got hit by a car but thankfully some really nice people helped him out and got him to safety. When we arrived, Meeko was in heavy pain and wouldn't let anyone touch him; getting him into the car was a struggle and painful but we had to get him to the hospital asap. On the way to the hospital he was crying from so much pain and it was sad to watch.

After getting the x-rays, to see how he was, the veterinarian found he has a dislocated hip and Femur trochanteric fracture so he will have to get operated asap. The operation will be happening tomorrow December 5th at VCA west coast specialty and emergency animal hospital. For us, this was unexpected; we were hoping to find them safe but that is not the case. This has hit us dramatically financially as we do not have the funds we wished to have. That's why we are asking for help of the community. Any little donation will be a big help! Thank you to everyone and god bless!
