Manuel Alvarado

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of a much-loved member of our school community. We recently learned that we lost Manuel Alvarado, our long-time custodian.

Manuel was a valued member of our Crockett Early College High School community for 12 years. During this time, he was a dedicated, kind, and dependable hard worker that always had a positive outlook. He was willing to do whatever he needed to support our community. We recently learned of Mr. Alvarado’s passing after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Mr. Alvarado will be greatly missed, and our prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

We know this will be a long road ahead for the Alvarado family and his friends and co-workers. Our community is committed to helping them in any way possible. On behalf of the Crockett Community, in the most devastating and humble of circumstances, we have setup this GoFundMe campaign to ask for any donations whatsoever to help ensure they're able to remember and celebrate Manuel Alvarado's life with a memorial and funeral.  

As we mourn the passing of Mr. Alvarado, let us keep him as well as his family and all those affected by COVID-19 in our thoughts.
