I want to start by saying that this is absolutely humiliating for me. I do my best not to ask anyone for anything, and I have never been good at accepting help or favors. However, with the amount of financial stress I have been surprised with, and a bit of convincing, I suppose I have nothing to lose but integrity.
Today I went to the dentist for a filling. Instead, I found out that I will be needing two root canals, two crowns, deep cleaning, and a few other smaller procedures. Though I am getting dental insurance as soon as possible, this will not cover any big procedures at all until I have had insurance for 1 year. I need these procedures done significantly sooner than that. They will not help me finance anything because I have bad credit, which is understandable, but horrible news nonetheless. The approximate cost for each of my two problem teeth totals up to about 2,400 each. Even with 2.5 jobs, there is no way I can afford that as soon as I need to be able to. Obviously I'm cutting out any excess spending for a long time until I can get all of this done, but my bills aren't going to get any cheaper either.
First I want to say thank you to anyone who has taken the time to even look at this page. Next, I want to say that I could never and would never be upset if someone did not hand me money. I am embarrassed to be in this vulnerable situation.
Anything helps. I promise I'm trying.
