The Rucker Family

Hi, I am Amber, and I am trying to help my brother, Scott, and his family raise money to help them through a really rough time. My brother is disabled (he broke his neck and had a skull fracture, that healed poorly) but has continued to try and work, rather than apply for disability, as his doctor has requested. To support his family he has been running a machine shop and repairing cars in a metal machine shop. On Dec 23, early in the morning, he heard a loud popping sound and went to see what it was. Unfortunately, something had caused his machine shop to become engulfed in flames. It burned so hotly that rebar and beams sagged. The crossroads where the shop was was closed for four hours while the fire department tried to control it. It is a complete loss. He had no insurance.
