St. John USVI Irma Family Fund
Donation protected
When Hurricane Irma came through the Virgin Islands it took more than the landscape, it took everything. It took homes, belongings, electric, water, food, jobs.... complete devastation. Then a second Hurricane, Maria came through and destroyed what was left. People are dying. How do you come back from this? I don’t know.... What I do know is this,
these people need help. These are my friends, my family. I am trying to provide financial support to 16 families ( I could not tell someone I love that I chose not to help them) This money will go towards food, gas, ice and clothes. The Red Cross has been giving food that a restaurant that wasn’t too badly damaged has been cooking up for all the locals on island, Thank You Longboard. The Red Cross pulled their support today. Food is essential. The money collected so far has made a difference. Now we are talking life and death. They need food and water. Please find it in your hearts to donate. $1, $5, it all adds up. Share this campaign and make the plea with me, I can’t do this alone, I need your help. We have raised close to $7000 so far, and I thank everyone who has donated to date. I had a successful fundraiser and working on another. I have been able to send $400 to each family to date. That helps, but it doesn’t keep them alive and healthy. Please find it in yourselves to skip that Starbucks today and donate that money. Share, Share, and Share some more. The more people that are aware the more chance of a much needed donation. Thank you for all that you have done so far, I couldn’t be doing this without you. I was on the local news trying to get word out for our forgotten US citizens, below is the link to view. Please help.
