Hope for Emily Buckley

Donation protected

Emily was my 6th grade student last year when she was diagnosed with bone cancer. She calls this painting "The Door of Dreams." She has been fighting this battle with such courage and grace as you can see from her contagious smile not to mention her sweet voice. She recently had her left leg amputated below her knee and currently she is in the hospital fighting an infection. Her dad, Mr. Buckley is a disabled veteran and mom, Mrs. Buckley, a nurse. Since her diagnosis mom has been off work taking care of Emily. That plus the weekly two hour drive to the hospital for chemo led to the family loss of their business and then home to forclosure. They are now living in a trailer at a trailer park closer to the hospital where Emily is being treated. They had some items placed in a storage that was robbed. The last I heard the medical bills are over $200K. I honestly can't imagine all that Emily and her parents have been through. I am starting this campaign with the hope that you might feel led to giving any amount of money to this family in a time of such need. Please join me in raising funds to show hope for Emily.
